كانت ليان في الصف الثاني الابتدائي؛ متفوقةً في مدرستها، آخر عنقود والديَها، من ألطفِ الأطفال وأكثرهم احترامًا. ليان كما أطفالُ غزّة؛ سرق الاحتلال طفولتهم في لحظة، فاستُشهدت ليان في 23 أكتوبر 2023 مع والديها وشقيقاتها وشقيقها.
